The Virgin Islands Regional Library for the Visually and Physically Handicapped proudly proclaims its status as a Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. (viNGN) Community Anchor Institution (CAI) in its winter newsletter. As part of the Public Computer Center (PCC) component of the territorial implementation of the nationwide Broadband Initiative, the library is able to allow complimentary computer and internet use to its patrons in the interest of communication, education, career building, and research.

Visitors to the library may also sign up for and take the Cyberlearning Basic Digital Literacy course and upon completing the Master Exam, become eligible to choose among over 5,000 professional and IT courses, all free to USVI residents.

CAIs also receive, through their Internet Service Providers (ISPs), access to the World Wide Web via viNGN’s 100% all-fiber-optic high speed network.
