An Introduction to Digital Literacy & On-Line Banking for Seniors & Veterans Seminars

banco-popular-logoU.S. Virgin IslandsThe Virgin Islands Next Generation Network (viNGN) in partnership with Banco Popular – will host a seminar titled “An Introduction To Digital Literacy & On-Line Banking For Seniors & Veterans” in advance observance of Money Smart Week.

These seminars are part of an ongoing effort by viNGN to introduce senior citizens and veterans to digital literacy and living life online.  In late March, viNGN staff members attended the 35th anniversary meetings of the local AARP chapters on St. Thomas and St. Croix.



  • St. Thomas, on Tuesday, April 1 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Charles Wesley Turnbull Regional Library’s Public Computer Center
  • St. Croix on Thursday April 3, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Department of Labor.

Seating for this event is limited. Interested parties are urged to RSVP as early as possible, in St. Thomas RSVP to, and in St. Croix RSVP to or call (340) 715-8581.
