VI Source: V.I. Next Generation Network officials provide positive progress report

Officials of the Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. (viNGN) provided viNGN Board members with the territory’s progress as part of a nationwide broadband initiative at a May 15, 2014 meeting.

Included in the presentation: Last month’s visit by representatives of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); an update on the establishment of Public Computer Centers (PCCs); Cyberlearning Digital Literacy and advanced training courses;  tech job opportunities via BetterWorld/ConnectSpaceVI.
