With a nod to the importance of digital literacy in creating a viable online business presence, the Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. (viNGN) is a proud co-sponsor of the week’s schedule, which includes an appearance by noted author, speaker and trainer Mitch Meyerson.

“Mastering Online Marketing: The 5 Keys To Building A Profitable and Sustainable Online Business” will be held June 3rd on St. Thomas at the Nisky Center Training Facility (6-8pm) and June 4th on St. Croix at the Sion Farm Training Facility (6-8pm). Investment is $40.00. Registration details may be found on the VI SBDC web site.

viNGN offers Cyberlearning online training as part of its ongoing efforts to increase digital literacy in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Students and adults, employees and business owners, senior citizens, veterans and retirees all benefit from passing the basic course, obtaining a certificate, and then moving on to advanced professional and IT courses, as well as SAT preparatory classes – all free to U.S.V.I. residents.

Small Business Week Awards presentations are slated for St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John districts to honor small businesses, and local entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to introduce attendees to their products and services trade-show style;  lunch will be served.
