According to Lawrence Kupfer, President & CEO of viNGN, “This recognition demonstration that our initiatives particularly our efforts with regards to our “VI Digital Literacy” Training program and other education related services offered at our Public Computer Centers have definitely connected in a big way with the Virgin Islands Community.”
Kupfer cites viNGN Public Computer Center (PCC) and Sustainable Broadband Adoption (SBA) grant vendors Cyberlearning and BetterWorld, as well as Gov. John P. deJongh, the USVI Public Finance Authority and the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) for their combined support for the USVI Broadband Initiative.
The management and staff of viNGN are indeed grateful for the continued confidence of the community and the many patrons who utilize the PCCs and go on to obtain jobs, increase their skills, go into business, do business online, and communicate with greater ability, thanks to the Digital Literacy program.
