(VI Source) The Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. (viNGN) believes that access to today’s technology is essential to personal communications as well as new learning and business opportunities.  With the opening of a new Public Computer Center (PCC) at the Strive Center in the Human Services Knud Hansen Complex, St. Thomas senior citizens will have access to eight computers including equipment compliant with American Disability Act (ADA) standards.

There are already dozens of PCCs open in the territory, accessible at vingn.com.  The Thursday June 26 grand opening of the new PCC is being praised as a cooperative effort between the USVI Department of Human Services and viNGN, according to Program Manager Yvonne Fenton:  “On behalf of viNGN, let me just say that we are so pleased to open this brand new Public Computer Center at the Department of Human Services offices in St. Thomas. I would like to thank Commissioner Chris Finch and all of the members of his team that helped to make this day possible.”
