The Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. (viNGN) is pleased to announce that the deadline for signing up for viNGN’s FREE Digital Literacy Course and gaining access to more than 5, 500 other courses for FREE has been extended to October 30, 2014!

NOTE: The period for registration for this course is now passed. viNGN recommends signing up for the FREE Khan Academy or access more information on Digital Learning Day resources on this blog.

This means that public school middle and high school students, parents, teachers, and all other residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands now have until October 30, 2014 to sign up for the Digital Literacy course, and higher tiered courses offered by the Virgin Islands Next Generation Network!  Complete the training, and you will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a brand new iPhone 6, courtesy of viNGN’s partner, Cyberlearning!

If you are a student, register now to take the courses on the campus of your school; all others may visit http://www.vingn.com to sign up for the online training. Courses may also be accessed at any of viNGN’s Public Computer Centers (PCCs) throughout the territory or any internet-connected computer.

If you have started the Digital Literacy training but have not completed it, this is the final opportunity.  Seniors, veterans, retirees, and all other U.S. Virgin Islanders can take advantage of this last chance to get ready for the many job, entrepreneurship, educational, social media and other opportunities.  For more information, log on to http://www.vingn.com, or call 340-715-8581.
