The St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands school district will put the territory on the worldwide Digital Learning Day map on Friday, March 13, 2015 – #DLDay – Digital Learning Day. On the official web site, the V.I. Department of Education posted:
“The Virgin Islands Department of Education, St. Croix School District will utilize this event as part of its ongoing initiative to engage educators and students, throughout fifteen schools, in learner-focused activities that promote problem-solving and critical thinking. Teachers and administrators at each school will be encouraged to collaborate with students in designing and delivering grade-level learning experiences that are authentic with real-world applications and solutions.”As part of its Public Computer Center (PCC) grant, The Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. supports activities that foster greater digital literacy, creativity and invention.
