#DLDay 2015: St. Croix USVI is on the Digital Learning Day map


Digital Learning DayThe St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands school district will put the territory on the worldwide Digital Learning Day map on Friday, March 13, 2015 – #DLDay – Digital Learning Day. On the official web site, the V.I. Department of Education posted:

“The Virgin Islands Department of Education, St. Croix School District will utilize this event as part of its ongoing initiative to engage educators and students, throughout fifteen schools, in learner-focused activities that promote problem-solving and critical thinking. Teachers and administrators at each school will be encouraged to collaborate with students in designing and delivering grade-level learning experiences that are authentic with real-world applications and solutions.”As part of its Public Computer Center (PCC) grant, The Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. supports activities that foster greater digital literacy, creativity and invention.
