Techie Tuesday: Announcing the HP Star Wars Notebook for the Star Wars fan in all of us!


Forget Microsoft’s new Surface Book: HP has awakened a new force with its Star Wars special edition notebook.

Set to launch early next month—ahead of December’s The Force Awakens premiere—HP’s laptop is the ultimate way to blog, tweet, and share your thoughts about the upcoming film.

Inspired by the Galactic Empire, the special edition notebook sports a “battle-worn” distressed design, with Aurebesh font on the hinge and Stormtroopers on the keyboard. The touchpad design mirrors the X-Wing Star Fighter Guidance System.

The only PC vendor to collaborate with Disney and Lucasfilm, HP has tapped into the studios’ media archives to create custom screensavers, desktop backgrounds, and sound profiles—all configurable by the user. read more
