seneca-quote-kindnessAlthough the focus of the PDP is to do everything we can to lead healthy, long lives full of joy and meaning, one thing is for inescapably certain: eventually each and every one of us is going to die. In this game called life, none of us is getting out alive. Taking care of ourselves so we can stick around for those we love is one of the most thoughtful things we can do for ourselves and others.

Something that is often overlooked, but is equally as thoughtful and important, is doing everything we can to ensure our eventual transitioning does not lead to unnecessary challenges for those we leave behind. As morbid as it may seem, preparing for our eventual death is one of the most thoughtful things we can do for our loved ones.
