Community Action Now brings Money Smart Week to the Virgin Islands

virgin-islands-money-smart-weekCommunity Action Now has partnered with Money Smart Week (April 23-30 2016) to bring greater financial literacy to the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. They have created the Facebook page Virgin Islands Money Smart Week to share opportunities for island residents of all ages to learn more about smart money management in their everyday lives and contribute to their own wealth and economic security.

Community Action Now has an ongoing mission to create programs and services that help those that need it most throughout the US and Caribbean. The organization’s accomplishments include the Savan Clean-Up Project and the distribution of care packages for the homeless and less fortunate on St. Thomas, and  from its home base in Conyers, GA, participating in meaningful demonstrations on behalf of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, the Million Man March, and curbing mass incarceration.
