American Library Association (ALA) President Sari Feldman joined forces with ALA President-Elect Julie Todaro to pen a defensible rebuttal to *Wall Street Journal contributor Steve Barker who referred to professional librarians as a “dying breed” in the face of current technologies. In fact, Feldman and Todaro insist that communities need engaged and digitally literate library professionals more than ever before!
