(Chronicle.com) – Stanford University sees potential for success with CS+X program
A pilot program that blends humanities with computer science provides students with a foundation in technical courses alongside courses such as history, art, and the classics. This reduces the number of hours required for a double major, and increases digital literacy, which is necessary to a post-collegiate career, according to Janice Cuny of the National Science Foundation.
