Thoughtful Thursdays: No free pass on sugar!

Food 040( – Cutting down on sugars:

When it comes to thoughtful eating, there just isn’t a “free pass” for sugar. Substitutions such as local honey, maple syrup and agave are popular choices, but they do not always work in every recipe – and then we find ourselves right back to using regular sugar. Instead of agonizing over it, eat it sparingly and look for ways to limit the amount (i.e., cook or bake your own food). (read more)
