To increase your child’s potential – add math!

bedtime_math_logoEven if you are not a mathematician, you can help your children to enjoy the subject and improve their school performance! Believe it or not, there is actually an “app for that” with cousins to spare. A recent Science journal study has revealed that even math-o-phobic adults can help their elementary school aged children get a jump start on the 1-2-3’s.

A University of Chicago group found that in particular, the app Bedtime Math with its stories and sound effects, gave children and their parents a wonderful chance to collaborate on solving problems and having fun. The results indicate that over the course of the year, this type activity contributes to increase math aptitude.
