You 2 tha World!..Who’s Protecting your Digital Footprint?

Our viNGN Community Team presented at the Annual “For Girls Only” Conference on April 5, 2016, which was held at the Addelita Cancryn Jr. High School.   We shared with the young ladies the importance of  protecting their digital footprints. Digital Footprints are the trails you leave behind while on the internet. This may include social media, email, and other forms of personal information available online. Our goal today was to have youngsters think how their online presence can impact their digital footprints and to empower these young ladies to make smart choices and remain in control of their digital reputation.

Assistant Attorney General, Su-Layne Walker was the Plenary Speaker for this conference. She stressed the value of education and goal setting. Young ladies were encouraged to set goals, conduct research, stay focused and execute their plans.
