If you’ve ever wanted to know what it takes to design and build and app, check out AppLab by Code.org! Anyone can learn in this environment, which uses blocks of JavaScript code to create apps that work, and that you can share online. There’s also an AppLab in the Classroom intro for educators and parents who would like to teach app dev on their own! Start with a quick programming course that gives you the basics, review a series of 10-minute demonstration videos, hack published apps to help you practice what you’ve learned, then go build your own!
