viNGN to observe Digital Learning Day 2017 at Turnbull Regional Library PCC Feb. 23


digital learning day 2017The Virgin Islands Next Generation Network, Inc. (viNGN) will observe the nationwide Digital Learning Day event for the 4th year in a row on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 10am-1pm with a special “Pop-Up Digital Coach” session at the Charles W. Turnbull Regional Library. 

Digital Learning Day was first launched in 2012 by Alliance for Excellent Education as a way to give innovative educators an opportunity to shine and collaborate using not only technology but human-powered projects and activities that encourage the love of learning. It has grown into a national observance, with over 2,300 hosted activities across the nation.

Entrepreneurs and others desiring free information on planning an online business, including web sites, blogs and social media are invited to stop by for free information, giveaways and guidance on getting started. All resources will be made available online on Digital Learning Day, so that it may be celebrated anywhere.
