CyberBullies, Internet Dangers discussed with 21st Century After School Program at Addelita Cancryn JHS


The 21st Century After School Program at Addelita Cancryn Junior High School invited viNGN to speak to parents, children and educators about cyber bullying and protecting our digital footprints on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

The interactive session saw audience members building their own “Threat Models” after viewing the NetSmartz video “6 Degrees of Information” which illustrates how we all can unwittingly make ourselves targets for cyber bullies, identity thieves, and surveillance.

Online privacy guidelines offered by The Library Freedom Project, plus 5 low-tech ways parents can safeguard their children online was accompanied by information on accessing the free GCFLearnFree Online Safety courses and other resources.
