The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) will host Net Inclusion 2018 April 17-19 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio, with the keynote address to be delivered by John A. Reilly Clinical Professor of Law at Harvard Law School Susan Crawford. Among her achievements, Crawford has contributed to several published works on the topic of Digital Inclusion, is a member of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Broadband Task Force and has authored Captive Audience: The Telecom Industry and Monopoly Power in the New Gilded Age.
Net Inclusion 2018 is the only national conference on equitable access and use of the internet. Challenges, strategies and funding for affordable home broadband, digital literacy training, affordable devices.
The mission of NDIA is to contribute to the support of initiatives that bridge the digital divide in communities across America by identifying funding, operational and policy support through its outreach and advocacy programs. Each year, the organization spearheads Digital Inclusion Week (May 7-11, 2018) to celebrate the work of over 300 affiliated organizations in 38 states that work for greater digital equity at the local level.
The NDIA exists to help build a national organization of local, regional and national broadband adoption providers, advocates and individual supporters. For more information visit digitalinclusion.org.
