Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Virgin Islands Department of Education has created virtual orientation schedules for public schools in the St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John districts. Virtual orientation sessions will be hosted via Zoom and Microsoft Teams from August 31 – September 4, 2020; with access information emailed direct to parents and students. Parents of Special Education students must attend an interactive Facebook Live streamed at 6:30 pm on September 3, 2020.
Previously requested laptops, Internet devices, desks and chairs will also be distributed with all COVID-19 protocols strictly enforced. Parents are reminded that they assume full responsibility for all items loaned for student use.
