U.S. Virgin Islands- The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) is pleased to announce that their annual academic scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students are now available. The Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for children, youth and families in the Territory by creating opportunities that otherwise would not be available. Public schools throughout the territory are set to benefit from the awarding of close to $35,000 in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) grants by the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI)! Educators were required to submit proposals that would enhance students’ learning and grow their talents through projects that offered hands-on experience in a wide array of disciplines, including robotics, cyber security, computer programming, and integrating STEM with the arts.
