Volunteer Opportunity at Strive Senior Center, St. Thomas


The Strive Senior Center on St. Thomas is seeking committed volunteers to provide computer skills training at the center on week days. Time and frequency can be based upon the volunteer’s availability schedule. This is an unpaid position. However, USVI Senior Citizens (60 years and up) are invited to explore the Department of Human Services Senior Volunteer Program, which provides a minimal monthly stipend. St. Thomas-based Girls Who Code Club Seeks Volunteers


Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building the largest pipeline of future female engineers in the U.S.A., has approved the establishment of a chapter in the United States Virgin Islands (Club Code VI728), hosted at the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas campus. A call has been issued for volunteer Facilitators, 18 years and up for activities beginning this fall. Continue reading
