The VI Bureau of Internal Revenue (VIBIR) and Raw Data, in partnership with First Bank and Evertec, have successfully implemented secure processing of online payments for excise tax returns in the territory! Seminars were hosted on St. John, St. Thomas and St. Croix. According to VIBIR Director Marvin L. Pickering, there is more yet to come. VI Bureau of Internal Revenue Excise Tax Portal Seminars Introduce Secure Online Payments


VIBIR-excise-webEffective May 20th 2016, U.S. Virgin Islands taxpayers will have the ability to prepare, submit and pay securely for their Excise Tax (721 VI) returns online. To introduce the community to this new service, the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue will be hosting a series of seminars beginning on St. John at the Legislative Annex May 17th, on St. Thomas at the Turnbull Library May 18th, and on St. Croix at the Department of Labor Public Computer Center May 19th.  Continue reading
