(UVIToday) – Amazing things are in store for recent UVI graduate and former viNGN intern Daricia Wilkinson! She’s in the spotlight on UVI’s blog for her perseverance and ongoing pursuit of excellence in the field of Information Systems and Technology. (VI Consortium) On Nov. 10, University of the Virgin Islands Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Association (UVIdea) members and viNGN Interns provided young residents of the Michael J. Kirwan Terrace community with an intro to programming called “Hour of Code.” The Hour of Code is an initiative of Code.org that highlights Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 7-13, 2015). Another session is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 17th at the Kirwan Terrace Public Computer Center from 3-4:30pm.
