Free Alpine SAT Prep and 1000 Words Challenge to Launch in September

All juniors and seniors attending a public high school in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands are eligible to apply for Alpine’s SAT Prep & 1000 Words Challenge. The free sessions will be held at the Charlotte Amalie High School on Saturdays, September 14 and November 9, and 16, with a closing ceremony on November 23, 2019. The training is intended to help students become acquainted with SAT tests, improve scores, enable test-taking practice, and increase vocabulary and mathematical skills.

iCanConnect Program assists vision and hearing impaired in the U.S. Virgin Islands


U.S. Virgin Islands residents with combined vision and hearing losses are eligible to apply for iCanConnect, a national program that offers free technology tools, installation and the training to use them effectively. The University of the Virgin Islands is the local administrator.
