Virgin Islands Department of Education Shares 2020-2021 Virtual Orientation Schedule

Note: In keeping with Governor Albert Bryan Jr’s August 29 extension of the territory’s Stay-at-Home Order, the Virgin Islands Department of Education has delayed the start of public schools for one week, with classes beginning on Mon., Sept. 14, and not Tues., Sept. 8. All students will learn from home, as previously announced. [details at]

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Virgin Islands Department of Education has created virtual orientation schedules for public schools in the St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John districts. Virtual orientation sessions will be hosted via Zoom and Microsoft Teams from August 31 – September 4, 2020; with access information emailed direct to parents and students. Parents of Special Education students must attend an interactive Facebook Live streamed at 6:30 pm on September 3, 2020.
