St. Thomas Health Care Management Students immersed in customized, hands-on STEM course
For Digital Inclusion Week (October 7-11, 2019), thirteen students successfully completed a Coding Mini-Academy hosted by the Virgin Islands Next Generation Network (viNGN, Inc.) in conjunction with St. Thomas Health Care Management. The once-weekly training sessions were held at the Sea View Adolescent Unit from Sept. 26-Oct. 10, 2019. High-school aged participants learned using Arduino to build code and execute programs. Popular all around the world, Arduino is an integrated hardware and software platform used to develop interactive projects.
