VI Consortium: Community invited to “Clip the Ship” as IT Intrepid Begins Laying of viNGN’s Submarine Fiber Optic Cable


Be a part of the USVI Technological Revolution and “Clip the Ship” – The International Telecoms ship (IT Intrepid), has begun its journey from South America to the U.S. Virgin Islands to begin its mission of laying our submarine fiber optic cable, linking St. Thomas and St. Croix! Similar to a freight ship, the IT Intrepid spans approximately 300 feet, with a crew of 15-30 people (including the captain, technical specialists, divers and others with specialized roles).
