GOVERNOR TO LAUNCH SIXTH SUMMER READING CHALLENGE PROGRAM; ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TERRITORY-WIDE TO PARTICIPATE

Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. is for the sixth consecutive year encouraging young students across the territory to read as many books as they can over their summer vacations.

The sixth Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge Program will kick off on June 21, 2014 and continue through August 15, 2014. The initiative promotes literacy by encouraging children to read and helps them to discover and collect books that they can use to start their own personal libraries. Continue reading
